Recently Ive created the business instagram page for iDentiFind and right now it looks a little like its an undressed mannequin. Its is looking a little empty and so I have asked myself ask the question? Do I just post images for the sake of filling the space, or create a good marketing strategy prior to posting photos.
To me its about finding a balance, and it’s also ok to accept that every business starts from somewhere. I realised that I probably should have been posting images as I had taken them. I am now going through setting up my portfolio of images and designs to load on to the page. Over the coming weeks the instagram will begin to showcase my work style and skills.
Part of my design process is creating a story board and this is where I am heading with my social media plan. I have a goal to make sure I post images to follow 3 key important issues
- Does it follow my style guide & branding guidelines
- Is it following copyright and is it my own original work
- Does the image tell a story and showcase who I am as an designer & artist
My work and skills consists of Web design, Photography and graphic design. I will be making story boards to showcase all areas of my skill level. Some of the design features that I love are typography and also colour and how it affects our psychology.
I look forward to building a strong portfolio to showcase and ultimately help you create your individual brand story.
